I personally have been working at home on and off since 1994 when I started doing a little freelance copywriting while at university. Since then, I’ve done more freelance copywriting… worked as a home-based attorney for a large law firm… run an IT and Internet security company… started a second Internet company… consulted with a real estate company… and done a host of other things.

And many of my friends are happily working at home doing all kinds of things too. And we absolutely love it!

After all, consider what working at home gives you...

	The ability to do what you love each and every day.
	The freedom to work where you want (it doesn't always have to be at home!), when you want and how you want... with no boss looking over your shoulder, telling you what to do!
	The time to take a day, week or month off (or more) whenever you want.

What’s more, there have never been more opportunities to work at home than there are now. I reckon this is largely due to the Internet and the vast business and communications opportunities it has created. But it’s probably also due to the growing acceptance of home-based work in today’s society.

Yet, while working at home and making a great living – and in many cases, building significant wealth – have never been more realistic for the average person than they are now… there is still so much misinformation about home based businesses and jobs!

Type “make money work at home” in your favorite search engine and you’re bound to see an array of “work at home income opportunities” in the search results. Many of these are full of hype and unsubstantiated claims.

Even many of the “anti-scam” “review” sites are often thinly veiled affiliate sites where the website owner gets a commission if you buy or click on one of their “recommended” business opportunities.

Now, don’t get me wrong.

There are plenty of legitimate “make money work at home” resources on the Internet too. And I certainly don’t object to anyone selling a franchise, multi-level marketing (MLM) opportunity or business opportunity.
