As I’ve mentioned, I’ve done all sorts of work at home, so I’ve enjoyed all kinds of wonders. Imagine:

- Earning thousands of dollars simply by including someone’s ad in your email newsletter.
- Landing consulting contracts that earn you over $1,000 a day.
- Clients calling you and asking you to do simple copywriting jobs that make you $12,000 in a couple of weeks.
- Waking up in the morning and seeing payment notification emails in your inbox… all for products you’ve already sold and digitally delivered… so you don’t have to do a thing.
- Your business making you money while you’re sound asleep, on the weekends, and while you’re on holiday.
- Being able to take your business with you when you go away – simply by having a laptop and Internet access.
- Being able to build up a home business from scratch and then have large corporates ask to buy it… and then to make huge dollars selling it.
And most importantly:
- Doing work that not only makes you a great income… but that you love to do…
- Having the flexibility to put work on hold while you spend time with your family, friends or engage in your sports or hobbies.
- Finding the right balance between work, family and other interests for you.
Believe me, the dream of working from home in a job or home business, making good money, and having plenty of time for your personal life, is not just a dream. It’s real. I’ve done it. I have many friends who’ve done it. And you can do it too.
Of course, I would never claim that you will become rich, earn a certain level of income, or not have to work hard if you choose to work from home. Not only am I unable to make any such predictions… but doing so would be outrageous and put me on par with the “get rich quick” promoters I can’t stand.
Equally, you’re unlikely to have the same experiences or get the same results as me – everyone’s journey will be different.
But I can say that there are enough people happily working at home, in a variety of jobs and home businesses, that it’s possible for you too.
You obviously have the desire or you wouldn’t be reading this now. So how do you go from where you are now to successfully working at home?
In my opinion, three things:
1. Knowing what the tried-and-true systems for success are…
2. Knowing how to apply these systems in your job or business… and
3. Applying them!
Okay, but aren’t there already plenty of websites out there promoting products, services, turn-key business systems, membership programs, and other “solutions” to help you succeed at home?
Yes, but again, it’s a matter of “buyer beware.” Unfortunately, while there are certainly legitimate sites around, there are also plenty of other sites promising the “secrets” to “getting rich at home” and making other outlandish claims.
How many of these are actually delivering on their promises?
In fact, many of the claims I’ve seen are just pure hype, if not outright lies. (I can only guess that the authorities have so many of these sites to deal with… that they just haven’t gotten around to shutting them all down.)
Too Many Work At Home Sites Are At Best Junk…
and At Worst “Get Rich Quick” Shams
If you’ve seen the same sites I have, you would have noticed that many of them:
- Are really just selling some over-hyped, if not downright dodgy, “moneymaking at home business” opportunity that just doesn’t add up. Look, let’s be clear on MLM and business opportunities: many are legitimate… but they’re like any business: you need to treat them as businesses – not “get rich quick” schemes – to make them work and get results.
- Suggest that you can get rich at home doing almost nothing. Come on, guys! No matter what you end up doing at home – whether it’s a job, business, franchise, multi-level marketing or business opportunity or any combination of these – you are going to have to work! It won’t necessarily be as much work as you would need to do without the know-how and support you’ll get from your Work At Home Bible Membership Program… and when you’re doing what you love, it may not even seem like “work”… but starting home businesses and jobs, not to mention doing them, still requires effort.
- Claim to provide objective “reviews” of all the jobs and businesses you can do at home… but really end up being biased towards work at home systems, franchises, MLM opportunities and business opportunities that they’re affiliates for. How can anyone provide “objective” reviews or advice about working from home when they receive a commission if you buy one of the systems or opportunities they review?
- Just don’t provide helpful information and support. To put it bluntly, the information they provide about working at home is general… all about the “what” but not the “how”… thinly veiled sales material for some product, service or business opportunity… or is just plain wrong.
- And when good information and helpful support is provided… it’s just way too expensive! Sure, it may be an investment that eventually pays for itself… but if you had the kind of money some of these sites are asking, you wouldn’t be looking for the information and services they’re selling, would you?
